The new SD14 Heavy Section self-coring fastener from SFS intec reduces installation time by over 60% in installation of Ward Topdek composite panels on heavy steel purlins.

The new SD14 Heavy Section self-coring fastener from SFS intec has been specifically launched to reduce installation time by over 60% in installation of Ward Topdek composite panels on heavy steel purlins The integral core cutter enables the fastener to be installed without requiring additional core cutting of the panel

The SD14-D10-T19 fasteners provide secure, rapid fastening of Topdek composite panels on heavy steel purlins.

The self-drilling, case-hardened carbon steel fastener can be inserted directly into purlins with a thickness between 4 and 14mm without pre-drilling the steel, when driven with the SFS intec installation tool.

In this way, significant installation time savings can be achieved.

The SFS intec SD14 fastener is fully tested and approved by Ward Insulated Panels .

All Topdek components are available under SFS intec's Security initiative, which can supply all Topdek approved fasteners, accessories and ancillaries with one order, direct to site in one delivery.

This ensures that all components are designed to ensure full compliance with Part L and Part J, and the warranted performance ensures low costs over the design lifetime.
