Dynamic 2D hinge withstands double the force
SFS intec's new Dynamic 2D hinge will still function after being subjected to a force approaching 9kN, double the maximum force usually applied to doors in PAS-24 tests.
As part of the standard hinge range, this colourful offering means door fabricators can enhance their doors easily without the delay of having to commission special colours.
The aesthetic appeal of the Dynamic 2D is proving extremely popular amongst door fabricators but so too is the product's excellent security performance.
The hinge offers fabricators an extra robust solution which well-suited to both the retail domestic and social housing markets where initiatives such as Secured by Design are being increasingly recognised as the norm.
With security underpinning the development of the Dynamic 2D, SFS intec has created a product which has successfully performed well in excess of the all-important PAS24 standard in doors manufactured from a variety of leading PVC-U profile systems.
Without the need for additional security devices, the hinge is able to withstand a force of 9kN - double the standard required.
