SFS intec has launched a new high performance door hinge which allows the creation of stylish timber entrance doors with optimum function thanks to easy adjustment in three dimensions.

Called the Easy 3D, the 130mm hinge is cylindrical in appearance and available in several colour finishes as standard.

It has been tested successfully with considerable loads up to 150kg and its design incorporates self-lubricating bushes to guarantee smooth squeak-free operation without the need for regular servicing.

Easy 3D offers great versatility for installers as it can be used on left or right handed doors, 15mm or 18mm gasketed or ungasketed.

Adjusting the door is simple, in three dimensions using an Allen key which allows installers to modify the door sash's horizontal position by +/-3mm, its height and the gasket pressure by +/-2mm.

Fitting the Easy 3D is also straightforward.

Mill the door sash using the SFS intec jig or CNC, then fit the female part into the sash and fasten using three wood screws.

Finally, combine the sash with the frame fitting, insert the pins and fix them using the security screws provided.

Easy 3D is a perfect solution for those installers looking to create a conservatory with a contemporary feel.

Available as standard in white, brown, brass, chrome and matt nickel finishes, Easy 3D can also represent an important design feature which makes its own contribution to the visual appeal of the door.
