Prime connection adds dynamic dimension to doors

Leading door and window fabricator The Prime Connection has enhanced the technical performance and styling of its composite doorsets with a switch to the Dynamic 2D hinge from SFS intec.

The Midlands based company, which is a specialist division of Bowater Building Products, is a major supplier of double and single rebate composite doors to the social housing, housebuilding and trade / retail sectors.

The Prime Connection has specified SFS intec's Dynamic 2D across its extensive product range which offers ten high performance PAS-023 and PAS-024 standard door styles with it's System 10 profile.

The composite door sets are also available with Eclipse and Eclipse esthetique systems.

The Prime Connection has experienced a number of benefits since switching to the Dynamic 2D including more efficient door fabrication as well as easier installation and adjustability.

Trevor adds, "The Dynamic 2D is easy to adjust post installation as well as being a sturdy and secure hinge that can withstand the rigours of heavy usage.

This is extremely important as it has significantly cut the number of service call outs due to potential 'door drops', twisting, warping or bowing during summer and winter".

The robust design of the Dynamic 2D hinge offers the potential for superior door security, meeting the requirements of PAS-024 testing in appropriate door sets such as those produced by The Prime Connection.

It is also a discreet hinge which provides a softer sightline on the door profile, improving overall aesthetics and reducing potential damage during transportation.
