Fabricator, Aire Valley Architectural, faceted the SCW thermally broken box section profiles to form the semi-circular curtain walling to give the impression of a curved screen.
Dual colour powder coated - grey on the outside and white on the inside - Aire Valley also installed SAS doors into the new build entrance.
Commenting on Senior's involvement in the project, Martin Illingworth of Aire Valley Architectural said: "We have specified Senior's products on other schemes so were confident in the quality and long-term performance of its systems".
"This scheme had a demanding specification for the faceted curtain wall, which we were able to deliver using the SCW box section profiles".
Says Leeds City Council Libraries Service delivery manager Bev Rice: "The new facility is an open, well lit space that has been well received by the staff and visitors as a replacement for the previous library".
