Measuring temperature and relative
humidity
Following success of their range of low cost miniature USB data loggers, Signatrol have added the SL54USB temperature and relative humidity version.
This compact self- contained single channel instrument plugs directly into the USB port on a computer, thereby removing the need for any interface leads and reducing cost With the capability of recording up to 8000 data points and a measuring range of -10degC to +65degC, 0 - 95%RH, the SL54USB is ideal for a wide range of applications, including the storage and transportation of sensitive goods, environmental monitoring in sensitive areas such as computer buildings, museums and art galleries, and energy monitoring

New Radio Link Data Collector From Signatrol
Signatrol's claim to be the UK's leading supplier of data loggers has been strengthened further by the introduction of their new SL400 Radio Link Data Collector.
The built-in battery lasts up to 10 years depending on sampling rates, and both units have a delayed start capability, allowing loggers to be pre-programmed up to one year in advance.
In common with all Signatrol data loggers, the SL54USB is fully compatible with the company's standard cross-platform TempIT operating software, which provides a fully comprehensive data logging package.
The TempIT-LITE version can be down-loaded free of charge from the Signatrol web site (www.signatrol.com).
This enables the loggers to be set up and the data read and displayed in graphical format.
As appropriate, data can be stored and retrieved at a later time.
The software can be up-graded to TempIT-Pro which provides various additional features such as data table view, export data to spreadsheet, email graphs, automated MKT (Mean Kinetic Temperature), F0 and A0 calculations.
In addition to the delayed start feature, the SL54USB also has a "start when alarm" function which inhibits data logging until the data logger has reached an alarm condition, making it ideal for temperature or relative humidity related fault finding.
The SL54USB is just part of Signatrol's extensive range of data loggers, mounting accessories and instrumentation, ranging from low cost single channel versions up to laboratory precision multi-channel devices.
