Zelio Logic Programmable Relays Get
Smarter
Zelio Logic programmable relays are an ideal choice for OEMs and others who need control solutions that are flexible and powerful, yet simple to implement, and highly cost-effective.
Facilities for easy expansion, by adding modules with 6, 10 or 14 I/O, and a choice of ladder-diagram or function-block programming, are features of the new modular range of Zelio Logic programmable relays from the Telemecanique brand of Schneider Electric They are an ideal choice for OEMs and others who need control solutions that are flexible and powerful, yet simple to implement, and highly cost-effective

Co-0peration Ensures Successful Hospital Refurb
Close co-operation between subcontractors has ensured that the upgrade of critical electrical distribution equipment at the West Middlesex Hospital was completed within 48 hours.
Other key benefits include enhanced memory capacity, allowing, for example, programs for several different machine cycles to be stored in the same relay.
There is a comprehensive range of functions, such as timers, counters, real-time clocks and analogue comparators, which make it easy to program the units to handle demanding tasks.
All modular relays in the Zelio Logic range feature a set of function keys, and an integral liquid crystal display that is backlit to facilitate use in poorly lit areas.

Latest Power Meter Benefits Powerlogic Users
Schneider Electric has introduced a new range of power meters, the PM700 series, to provide users with all of the basic measurement capabilities needed for monitoring an electrical installation.
Ladder-diagram programming can be carried out using only the display and the function keys, making the units completely self-contained.
Also new to the Zelio Logic range are second-generation monoblock programmable relays, which share most of the advanced features of the modular models, but which have a fixed, non-expandable I/O configuration.
Monoblock relays are available with integral displays and function keys, or in low-cost blind versions, which are ideal for applications where there is unlikely to be a need for on-site program changes.
To complement the latest Zelio Logic relays, a new Windows-based programming software package for use on PCs has been introduced.
Compatible with all models in the range, this provides maximum flexibility and easy generation of documentation, as well as allowing the programs to be comprehensively tested before they are loaded into the Zelio Logic relay.
Monoblock versions of Zelio Logic programmable relays are available with 10, 12, or 20 I/O, while base units for the modular versions are offered with 10 and 26 I/O.
Modular base units can be expanded with a single 6, 10 or 14 I/O expansion module, and for applications needing networking facilities, a Modbus module can also be added.
Available as an accessory for the new Zelio Logic programmable relay range is the innovative Zelio Logic communication interface.
Used in conjunction with a modem, this allows remote supervision and monitoring of the control system, and can even send alarm messages to a mobile phone.
These facilities enable costly site visits, to assess and diagnose problems, to be greatly reduced or even eliminated.
