With the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive due to come into force in January 2006, organisations should be looking for new ways to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings.
This directive, a new performance standard based on a target carbon dioxide emissions rate for heating, hot water and lighting, will publicly rate buildings on their energy performance.

"This way, we'll be able to advise on the best course of action for improving the energy performance of each individual building".

Incorporating the Schneider Electric brands, Merlin Gerin, Telemecanique, and Clipsal, Transparent Building Integrated Systems will demonstrate the energy saving capabilities of intelligent buildings.
