By using the new Quick Build assembly service which is now being offered by Schneider Electric, contractors can eliminate the need to assemble panel boards and distribution boards on site, allowing them to cut costs, and to make more efficient use of skilled on-site labour, which today is often in short supply.
Designed to be completely hassle-free, and to offer a fast turnaround time to meet the needs of contractors working to tight deadlines, the new service provides Powerpact 4 panel and power boards, and Isobar 4 distribution boards which are delivered ready assembled to the user's exact specification.
The cost of the assembly service is invariably lower than the cost of assembling the equipment on site, which means that big cost savings can be made, especially on larger projects.
In addition, because the equipment is supplied ready for immediate installation, the time taken by on-site assembly is eliminated, making it possible to complete projects more quickly.
A further major benefit of the new Quick Build service is that the configuration of the equipment is verified prior to building, allowing any specification errors to be identified and corrected at an early stage, before they result in inconvenience and delays.
In addition, all panels and boards are fully tested prior to despatch, so users of the service can be confident that they will perform fully to specification, as well as delivering the highest levels of safety.
