Schneider Electric hosted seminars in response to the perceived growing need for information and advice on how to save energy.

Electric Energy conservation is unequivocally high on the agendas of most people concerned with the built environment according to Schneider Electric whose turn out for a recent series of energy seminars at Old Trafford exceeded all expectations Schneider Electric - one of only 200 companies to hold the Carbon Trust's Energy Accreditation Award since it started in 1993 - hosted the seminars in response to the perceived growing need for information and advice on how to save energy

It is now vital for new buildings to incorporate the latest technology to meet stringent legislation, energy efficiency standards and power quality demands.

With over 200 delegates, including architects, building services engineers and contractors, attending the most recent two day conference at the home of Manchester United football club, the widespread concern over energy was clearly confirmed.

Ideally suited to provide expert advice on energy related issues and technology, Schneider Electric informed attendees through seminar sessions on power quality, secure and critical power provisions, and energy efficiency.

Engineers were also able to discuss the best solutions for specific installations with the company's technical experts.

Schneider Electric is committed to providing energy efficient buildings using the latest technology now and into the future.

The success of the Manchester event follows on the heels of an equally successful seminar programme hosted at the headquarters of the IET in London in June 2006.
