Complete residential solutions at ELEX

A Schneider Electric product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Feb 11, 2008

Schneider Electric will demonstrate how its GET, Clipsal and Square D brands provide a complete residential solution and can add real value to homes at affordable prices.

ELEX, is on 13-14 March at the Yorkshire Event Centre, Harrogate.

Also on display will be Schneider Electric's latest developments in smart home technology, a fast-growing market that offers valuable opportunities.

The GET Smart Wireless Lighting System, for example, provides a fascinating approach to controllable lighting, creating an individual atmosphere for today's stylish modern home.

GET Smart lighting will add a new dimension to modern home living and entertaining, creating interesting scenes simply at the touch of a button.

Completing the home networking/lighting control line-up will be the Clipsal C-Bus control and management system, ULTI retrofit wireless lighting system and GET wiring accessories to complement a broad cross section of installations.

Modern buildings must also cater for modern communications technology.

An integrated voice-data-image (VDI) solution, the Delta 8 all-in-one accessible home networking system will be exhibited.

Delta 8 brings signals through a single cable to outlets anywhere to enable TV, data, telephone and entertainment to be piped to every outlet in the home.

Forward thinking electricians will also be planning for the imminent release of the 17th edition Wiring Regulations, where there are changes that will see an increase the need of residual current devices (RCDs) and surge protection.

Schneider Electric's range of RCDs, including the RED range which gives automatic testing and reclosing, and its range of surge protection devices will be on display.

ELEX, on 13-14 March at the Yorkshire Event Centre, Harrogate.
