Diamond blades for stone cutting

A Shoxx product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 2, 2007

New Shoxx X20 disc cuts twice as fast as a standard blade and lasts twice as long as a top range blade.

After six years of research and development, Shoxx technology reaches the diamond blades market.

This worldwide patented innovation concerns a new segment production process that uses high-quality bonds developed in the automotive industry and now used for the first time in the diamond tool sector.

Thanks to the strength of these bonds, the new Shoxx X20 disc cuts twice as fast as a standard blade and lasts twice as long as a top range blade.

The Shoxx X20 diamond blade is designed with a 20-mm segment height to cut a wide range of materials such as block paving, brick, concrete, construction materials, granite, gravelled flagstone, natural stone, reinforced concrete, and other abrasive materials.

For smoother cutting, the trapezoidal shape of the segments limits vibrations when in operation.

A thicker steel core decreases vibrations during operation, which reduces fatigue for the user thus providing a safer working environment.

The diamond grains are coated with titanium to increase grain retention.

The blade complies with the standard EN 13236 and is certified by oSa (Organization for the Safety of Abrasives).
