A Bit Of A Tall Storey From SIKA
Anniesland Tower, a multi-storey listed tower block in Anniesland, Glasgow has recently undergone an extensive external refurbishment using a specialist adhesive product from Sika.
The SikaTack Panel System was used to bond GRP trims to the external pre-cast concrete of the tower block and then bond a mosaic finish The external work had to be completed within listed building constraints
In addition to successful product trials by the contractor, the SikaTack Panel System was specified because of its permanent, elastic structural bonding, its simple installation using one part materials plus the fact that there would be no unsightly fixings visible.
No doubt, there will be yet another tall storey from Sika Limited very soon.
