Sikaflex window and door sealant has been used exclusively for the last 4 years, by Flagship Housing in the replacement of windows and doors in the large portfolio of properties it manages.

Flagship Housing maintains and manages over 16,000 properties located between North Norfolk and Grays in Essex.

Over the last 12 years they have been involved in a roll out scheme to replace rotting windows and doors with PVCu units.

Sikaflex has met and exceeded Flagship's requirements for a long lasting effective perimeter sealing system.

It assists with Construction Part L Building Regulations which dictate a completely airtight structure and perimeter sealing for doors and windows.

In addition, Sikaflex was selected by Brian Hammond, Property Contracts Manager for Flagship Housing because it can be easily applied, easily tooled off, it can be repaired, has excellent UV resistance, it is supplied in a range of colours which do not fade and can be overpainted if required.

With a tolerance to dampness, Sikaflex became the first choice.

In time all 16,000 properties in the Flagship portfolio will have Sikaflex applied to seal all of the replacement doors and windows.
