Anchor It With Sika's New Injection Adhesive

Sika have launched Sika AnchorFix-1, a two component, general purpose, fast curing, simple to use injection chemical anchoring adhesive.

Based on styrene free polyester resin, AnchorFix-1 can be injected into most substrates including concrete, brickwork, blockwork, hollow and solid masonry, solid rock and natural stone.

It even anchors into damp concrete.

AnchorFix-1 is suitable for practically every type of anchoring and fastening method, such as threaded rods, steel reinforcement, masonry wall tiles, anchor sockets etc Supplied in a single 300ml cartridge that fits into a standard sealant gun, the two component Sika AnchorFix-1 is mixed in the nozzle for simplicity and error free operation.

The cartridge can be re-sealed and used at a later date by replacing with a new nozzle.

The adhesive is easy to use, economical, can be applied in temperature ranges from 10 degrees C.

to +30 degrees C.

and, being thixotropic, eliminates the need for temporary mechanical fixings when used in overhead applications.
