Sika Duplicates Success At Xerox
Sika Limited, one of the world's leading manufacturers of joint sealants and elastic bonding materials, has recently supplied several of its products in external refurbishment of Xerox.
The building at Oxford Road, Uxbridge has long suffered from leaking perimeter joints to windows and cappings at roof level, causing water ingress into the offices at the upper levels The solution was to employ a specialist sealant applicator to remove the old failed sealants, reseal and waterproof with Sikaflex-Pro-2HP, Sikaflex PUR-Bond and Sikabond-TB
The combination of these 3 products gives the benefit of compatibility with the fabric of the building, a long life expectancy and allows for future structural movement.
No doubt, this success will be duplicated by the use of Sika on many more future occasions.
