Sika-Trocal, who are market leaders in single ply roofing membranes, have supplied materials for a roof refurbishment project over a building that houses extremely sensitive equipment at Christies Hospital in Oak Road, Withington, Manchester.

The building, known as The Derek Crowther Unit, contains scanning and imaging equipment used for diagnosing and investigating patients.

Water leakage from the failed roof was endangering the equipment and disrupting the work at the unit.

The specified solution to overcome this problem was Trocal S single ply roofing membrane.

This system provided speed of laying and guaranteed watertightness.

Both benefits were key factors in Trocal S being specified on such a critical project.

Trocal S makes sense for sensitive projects.
