Sika car park decking systems
Grosvenor Developments in association with Cambridge City Council chose Sika car park decking systems for the new build Grand Arcade multi-storey car park in Cambridge city centre.
This follows the Council's successful experience of using Sika systems on the recent refurbishment of Queen Anne car park The state of the art Grand Arcade car park has been built over new retail units that make up the Grand Arcade shopping centre, thus requiring a durable, waterproof decking system with a proven track record in this type of application

It is impervious, slip and skid resistant and capable of standing up to the abrasion and loadings from continuous vehicular traffic.
Just what was needed in this application.
Sikafloor -354, a two part, coloured epoxy seal coat, was then applied over all areas.
The new Grand Arcade car park, which is built on the site of the old Lion Yard car park, provides spaces for 660 cars, and provides shoppers with an up to date, user-friendly environment.
