Sika shows wood floor adhesives at BEST

Sika is to exhibit its portfolio of wood floor bonding products at this year's BEST show, and will showcase products including Sika Latex Ultra, Sika Rapid DPM and Sikabond AT-80.

The Sika technical team will carry out a number of wood flooring installation demonstrations during the event.

Sikabond AT-80 is an easy to use, hybrid wood flooring adhesive which combines the properties of both MS (modified silicone) adhesives and PU (polyurethane) adhesives.

The easy spread adhesive is used for full surface bonding of solid and engineered wood flooring direct to almost any substrate.

It offers effective trowel profile retention and can be easily removed from the top surface of flooring and tools, even when fully cured.

Sika Latex Ultra, a high flow levelling compound, is easy to mix and can be walked on in approximately two hours.

Sika Latex Ultra is a high performance latex modified levelling compound for floor smoothing and levelling of uneven substrates, from feather edge to 20mm in a single application.

Sikabond Rapid DPM (damp proof membrane) is a single part resin primer and damp proof membrane for cement-based substrates developed specifically to cut down time on site.

Sikabond Rapid DPM dries in 45 minutes allowing work to continue on the same day.

Sikabond Rapid DPM protects floor finishes from residual moisture emanating from cement based sub-floors.

It can also be used for consolidating weak cement screed and for the isolation of old adhesives residues.

Sika will also have a presence in the CFJ demo area of BEST, where numerous Sika products will be put to the test.

Sika will be located on Stand 5-A68 at the BEST exhibition.
