Silent Gliss Roller Blind Systems Fit Any Window

A Silent Gliss product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jun 24, 2003

With the addition of the new mid-size systems launched in May 2003 the range can literally cover any window regardless of size.

Since Silent Gliss first introduced their Roller Blinds in 1984 the range has gone from strength to strength.

The new systems, 4830 (chain) and 4870 (motorised) mean that Silent Gliss Roller Blinds are now available seamlessly from 80cm width by 130cm drop (1 m2) to a maximum 400cm width by 1200 cm drop or 500cm width by 900cm drop (36 m2).

Manual or motorised.

Even larger as linked double systems.

The new mid-size rollers cover 10 m2 (chain) or 14 m2 (motorised).

An optional fascia is available.

One of the enhancements to the range of small roller blinds is the 4810 Double Function: close by chain but release quickly by spring, (especially useful where there are banks of blinds or tall windows).

An application chart for Silent Gliss Roller Blinds sets out dimensions for single and double systems very clearly.

Silent Gliss is also launching three new fabrics: Novoscreen, Clearscreen and Clearscreen Met.

All are PVC-free and flame retardant to BS 5867.

Novoscreen has an openness factor of 3% and Clearscreen and Clearscreen Met both have an openness factor of 15%.

All the fabrics are effective solutions to ma intaining visibility with solar and heat protection.

The fabrics are exclusive to Silent Gliss.
