Simmtronic SPECS3 lighting control systems
Simmtronic SPECS3 fully addressable lighting control systems are being installed, by mechanical and electrical contractors Haden Young, in the Cat.A fit-out of 150 Cheapside.
Each of the six pole sockets provides connections for the Live 'Up', Live 'Down', Neutral and Earth.
It is fully addressable and ensures that when new offices are created, the blinds can be configured in the same way as the lighting, with individual control to each unit along the facade.
Internal processors provide accurate tilt control.
The SPB.8 incorporates two test switches, which enable the control of all eight blinds to be tested both up and down, prior to system commissioning.
Simmtronic Blind Control Modules offer a high degree of flexibility in configuration via SPECS Manager, the company's graphical system software.
For control, the system employs an advanced messaging format that includes error detection and self-correction.
Using mains wiring or two independent cores, the signal can be integrated into the mains supply system, allowing one pluggable connection to the SPB.8, with no delicate bus wiring.
By using flexible external fixings integrated into the casing, the new Blind Control Module can be installed and connected in one 'fix-and-forget' visit.
