Sime expands 'Ecomfort' combination boiler range

25kW output model, together with the 30kW Ecomfort model combines high efficiency performance from a standard boiler with low running costs.

The addition of a 25kW output model to its range of Ecomfort wall mounted combination boilers is further testimony to Sime's ongoing commitment to provide a versatile range of boilers to meet all types of domestic requirements.

Together with the 30kW Ecomfort model, this latest addition is Band B SEDBUK rated and successfully combines high efficiency performance from a standard boiler with low running costs, without sacrificing the advanced technological features for which Sime is renowned.

Compact in size - measuring just 700mm high by 450mm wide - both Ecomfort models are capable of producing over 12 litres per minute of hot water.

They also feature Sime's unique AQUAGUARD filter that protects heat exchanger also built in as a frost stat and offers protection from the pump running dry.

Utilising similar technology common to Sime's standard combination boilers, the Ecomfort range features an additional 'post condensing' heat exchanger or recuperator that recovers heat normally lost through the flue.

This recovered heat is used to pre-heat the return heating water, thereby saving valuable energy.

Ecomfort complies with current building regulations.

Commenting on the introduction of this latest model, Sime's Managing Director, Paul Linley, said: "The addition of Ecomfort 25 is yet another example of Sime's commitment to providing a portfolio of boilers that are suitable for all types of application".

"This range of boilers offers increased familiarity and ease of service for the installer plus simplicity of operation for the customer"." All Sime boilers are designed with the installer and service engineer in mind, and Ecomfort is no exception.

As well as time clock and electrical leads already fitted, a wall spacing-frame is available to enable pipe-work to be fitted behind the boiler.

LED indicators also show simple fault and operation information.
