SIXNET has incorporated another new option into their line of Industrial Ethernet Switches.

SIXNET has incorporated another new option into their line of Industrial Ethernet Switches.

The new "L" option allows a 40 km long haul fiber optic distance instead of the standard 15 km.

This option is offered on all SIXNET switches with singlemode fiber ports.

Both ST and SC fiber transceivers are available.

For even greater distances beyond 40 km, contact SIXNET.

SIXNET real-time Ethernet switches offer many other capabilities in addition to the 40 km fiber distance.

They operate over a wide temperature range of -40C to 85C and have an IP67 waterproof option as well.

These ruggedized switches were designed for plant floor environments and carry UL, CSA (CUL), CE, Zone 2(hazardous locations) and DNV (marine and offshore) ratings.

In addition, they have simplified installation, allow for deterministic control and have increased reliability with over 1 million hours mean time between failures.

Also in SIXNET's family of industrial connectivity products are the EtherTRAK Managed Ethernet Switches.

These switches offer real-time secure performance with SNMP network management and rapid spanning tree for fast redundant rings.

Features like these ensure the reliability of your network with automatic switchover on a segment failure and advanced indication of network problems.

Then, port mirroring enables advanced troubleshooting to quickly find and fix networking issues.

These units also come with open Linux inside and free firmware upgrades forever.

There are several models of Industrial Ethernet Switches available from SIXNET, all backed by a 20-year support and service promise.

They offer different combinations of copper and fiber ports and other capabilities as well.
