Stabila has launched a second extremely robust site laser level, the LAR 250 electronic self-levelling laser, developed to satisfy the requirements demanded by today's contractor.

With 8 functions remotely operated it can cope with applications in a seriously fast, accurate and reliable manner * Point function

* Point function at 90 degrees.

* Horizontal scan line.

* Vertical scan line.

* Plumb line.

* Horizontal rotation.

* Vertical rotation.

* Inclination (0-5 degrees remotely operated).

The tilt compensators can be overridden to allow the user to tip the whole unit over to any angle required.

Whatever the job the LAR250 with REC300 receiver makes short work of it, whether fitting out, setting out, concrete construction, excavating or curtain walling you can rely on the Stabila Quality.

When used in conjunction with the new REC300 laser receiver, which comes with the laser as standard, the LAR250 has a working range of 350 metres diameter making it ideal for use on even the largest of sites.

Powered by 2xD 1.5 volt batteries it has an operating time of up to an incredible 120 hours and no messing around with battery packs and transformers (can also be operated with rechargeable batteries).

The new Stabila LAR 250 has been built to withstand the rigours and conditions encountered on today's demanding construction sites, through continued innovation and development with the end user in mind, the unique design allows the LAR250 to perform in all weather conditions and temperatures.

The LAR250 is extremely robust and durable, it incorporates the Stabila Protection System which cushions severe impacts and incorporates a strong shock resistant aluminium body, so even if the LAR250 and tripod are knocked over its no problem, just set the unit back up switch on and start measuring again thus eliminating any expensive downtime or repair bills.

IP65 rated, the LAR250 is impervious to dust and water so whatever the conditions it can be left in position to do its job, so it does not require the 'bin bag' treatment like so many other site lasers.

Even in the heaviest of downpours that the UK weather can throw at it the LAR250 and REC300 are perfectly equipped to deal with it, for cleaning it can even be safely jet washed, and of course it is cold and heat resistant over a temperature range of -10 to +60C.

The new Stabila REC300 receiver incorporates a double LCD, is dust and waterproof to IP67, with a digital display showing any deviations in metric or imperial even over long distances.

The new receiver is extremely precise and fast, incorporating two sensitivity levels to simplify the setting up over longer or shorter distances.

Run by 2xAA batteries it has an operating time of 70 hours, auto switch off and an operating temperature of -20 to +60C making it the perfect partner for the LAR250.

Compatible with most machine controls on the market the LAR250 can also be used in conjunction with heavy plant.

Stabila's LAR250 offers the professional contractor a site laser that is accurate, reliable, and affordable, simplicity itself to operate, fast set-up less stress and complete peace of mind.

With a 2 year warranty the LAR250 is the complete package that is designed and made in Germany by a brand that has been producing quality since 1889.
