Test provides confirmation that SkidProof is suitable for use on all floor areas that area likely to become highly contaminated.

SkidProof International have had their anti-slip treatment, SkidProof, assessed by SATRA using the DIN 51130 Ramp Test This test measures slip through the use of a human subject, who walks backwards and forwards over contaminated flooring at ever increasing angles of inclination

The resultant angle at which slip occurs classifies the flooring via a rate using a designation such as R9 up to R13.

After completion of the test the SkidProof sample achieved the highest rating of R13 with an average slipping angle of 35.9 degrees.

An R13 rating means that Skidproof is suitable for work areas where there is an increased risk of slipping due to grease, oil, water, foods, left-overs, dust, flour, plant clippings, etc.

SkidProof has also been tested by the Building Research Establishment (BRE)for it's staining resistance and cleaning ability.

The Health and Safety Laboratories tested the slip resistance value of SkidProof using the Pendulum and SATRA carried out a second ramp test to find the suitability of SkidProof in barefoot areas.
