Siemens new account management structure
Siemens Transportation Systems announce major restructure of its account management teams within the infrastructure business, to improve and enhance customer service.
Siemens Transportation Systems (STS) has announced a major restructure of its account management teams within the infrastructure business, to improve and enhance customer service.
STS offers a very wide range of rail based systems and services and combined with the recent acquisition and integration of Transmitton into the infrastructure business, is keen to ensure customer's needs are placed at the centre of everything it does.
The new head of sales and marketing for STS Infrastructure is Steffen Goeller, who has over 14 years experience within Siemens.
Under the new key account management structure, a single person will act as the client's primary contact for STS's Infrastructure business.
The dedicated account manager will bring specialists to the client, if the scope of work requires it, offering an efficient and seamless service.
Steffen Goeller explains," The main objective for this change is to achieve a joined up approach, which is more customer-focussed and with shared learning across dedicated account teams".
"Siemens is renowned for innovation and engineering excellence and this team will provide expert advice on telecommunications and systems integration services".
Mainline account manager for re-signalling will be Andrew Hunter and for Electrification, David Brazier.
Peter Elkins will oversee Network Rail Enhancements and major projects such as Thameslink, Cross Rail and FTN.
In addition to their existing responsibilities, Chris Elliot will handle London Underground and Richard Shaw will focus on DLR, Metro and other light rail schemes with Stephen Wright looking after STS's Scottish customers.
The new structure will enable STS to deliver an efficient, high quality service to all its customers.
The new look STS Infrastructure account teams will be at the UK's leading rail exhibition Railtex from 20-22 February.
The STS stand will be T20, by entrance N7 of the North Halls.
