Sports floor refurbed in half-term
Sports-Cote Floor Seal Diamond material manufactured by Sports Coatings specified for refurbishment of sports hall of a school.
The wooden floor in the sports hall of St Anne's School, Windermere was in need of a complete surface refurbishment and the whole job had to be completed during the half-term week To ensure the project could be completed on time it was essential that the floor seals used were quick curing as well as providing an extremely durable surface

Sports-Cote Floor Seal Diamond is a two part polyurethane material developed by Sports Coatings to protect and enhance wooden sports floors.
It provides a surface that has twice the abrasion resistance of conventional single pack sealers - a significant factor considering the extreme traction required during the turns, sudden acceleration and abrupt stops of indoor sports.
The 550 square metre wooden floor was mechanically sanded, then two coats of the sealer applied.
As the sports hall is used for multiple games, a series of coloured line marks were applied using the fast curing Sports-Cote Polyurethane line paint, followed by a further two coats of the Diamond floor sealer.
