Downloader Solo digital tachograph kit, available from Smartcard Focus, is designed to enable operators of single trucks or small fleets to meet legal requirements.
'Our EasyTac downloader kit includes the reader and all the software needed to download data from drivers' smartcards onto a Windows PC,' says Dan Isaaman, of Smartcard Focus.
'The software is quick and easy to use, and enables the user to view and print various activity reports as well as to create daily analogue-style timelines and export data to Excel'.
The kits cost just GBP99.95 + VAT with an option to add in a VU download unit compatible with all makes of digital tachos in Europe.
There is no limit on the number of drivers or vehicles - users simply buy one kit per depot/location as needed.
