Sash Windows UK combat new forms of burglary
Sash Windows UK are providing greater protection and peace of mind with the introduction of Excalibur RASP, an innovative new security system which combats new forms of burglary.
The company knew exactly what they wanted for the fenestration of the apartments, but unfortunately, the industry was unwilling to comply with their design requirements, until Sash stepped in to prove everyone wrong.
"We wanted PVCu curtain walling for the elevations to match the window detailing and to create an eye catching exterior," explains Dan Andrews of Anwyl.
"However, this seemed to be too much of a tall order for most window manufacturers until we got in touch with Sash.
Together we developed a solution that met all of our design criteria and the aesthetic requirements".
Sash took up the challenge and utilising its experience in window manufacture, was able to provide bespoke curtain walling for the block.
"There were two main reasons for specifying Sash," continues Mr Andrews.
"For maximum visual impression, we required curtain walling that had an excellent reputation for quality, long lasting durability and enhanced visual appeal.
Secondly, using the Sash system was infinitely more cost effective than using aluminium or other comparable materials.
"And despite the size of the windows and the transport logistics involved on the site which slopes downwards, the Sash team is doing a fantastic job and we hope to be completed in the near future".
Commenting on the project, Sash UK's joint managing director Dave Ruzicka said: "Our technical skill and superiority within in this field really gives us the edge, allowing us to take on projects of vast complexities and setting a precedent for our counterparts to try and follow.
We at Sash relish challenges and believe implicitly it is exactly that, that separates us in the market place".
Once the luxury development is done, there will be more apartments for sale in the village of Deganwy, in a block that fits perfectly into the surroundings and that blends naturally and unobtrusively into the landscape with the Sash curtain walling reflecting the picture postcard surrounding environment.
