Sika-Trocal membrane used for leading supermarkets

Sika-Trocal licensed contractor, Robertson Roofing has made a major contribution to the new Sainsbury's inner city store in Maidenhead which incorporates a stylish urban apartment block beneath a sympathetic and long lasting flat roofing solution.

This contemporary development in Maidenhead was topped with 4,000 square metres of light grey Sika-Trocal Type S membrane, a roofing membrane originally developed in Germany in 1962 and finished with a slate grey detailing around the edges.

Since then Sika-Trocal membranes have been used in almost every type of environment throughout the world.

In the UK, these membranes have been particularly popular for most of the leading supermarkets such as Morrisons and Tesco and large shopping centres including The Trafford Centre and Sheffield's Meadowhall.

Robertson Roofing was supported on the project by architects Chetwood Associates and HBG Construction as main contractor.
