EasySens - Connection to LON

For the first time, the building control technic is experiencing a comprehensive product line of sensors and receivers making it possible to build up wireless and maintenance-free sensors within buildings.
This significant progress has been enabled by EasySens.
By integrating innovative, solar-powered radio transmission technic based on the EnOcean standard, the devices are operating without batteries.
Due to the maintenance-free operation and radio transmission, the sensors are working at any place.
One year after the product introduction, various sensor types for temperature monitoring, detection of relative humidity, set point adjustment and status detection are available.
Of course, the current product line is continuously extended, so to offer a complete program for other physical variables respectively applications, as well.
Special emphasis is given to the latest product SR04 rH combining the detection of relative humidity and temperature in living spaces.
On request, this sensor can also be supplied with further operating elements.
The output of the measured values is made with a resolution of 8-Bit and an accuracy of +/- 3% for relative humidity and +/- 1% for temperature.
The receiving module SRC-FTT is used as a gateway between EasySens and LON.
The node receives and manages the radio sensors and outputs all measuring values received with standard network variables according to the LonMark prescriptions.
Thus, a connection to higher-graded control systems can be realized easily.
Another advantage of the standardized radio transmission is provided by the fact, that the gateway cannot only receive Thermokon sensors, but also e.g light keys of the company PEHA.
The standard radio telegram consists of 14 data bytes, including among others four data bytes with effective information such as for example temperature, humidity as well as 4 other data bytes with the ID number of the sensors.
By means of the 32-bit-ID, a radio sensor is clearly described and can be identified by the radio receiver, thus.
The allocation of the individual output variables can be made similar to the installation of LON devices.
The sensor ID can either be written directly into the configuration parameters EnOcean-ID or it can be automatically stored by actuating the learning button on the sensor.
