Danfoss Randall AB-QM valves are a new generation of versatile, multi-function valves which combine the three functions of a motorised control valve, a pressure control valve and a double regulating valve commissioning set in one device.
Now available from Sontay, they can be used for balancing and controlling fan coils, chilled ceilings and air handling units and other HVAC equipment in constant flow or variable volume systems.
AB-QM valves are easy to size and set for a specific application.
By fitting the standard valve with one of four different types of Danfoss actuators, they can be easily upgraded to a motorised control valve with full authority, supplying both temperature control and flow balancing in one, space-saving device.
The three control functions are specifically matched to ensure optimum system performance and only one valve has to be mounted in a system instead of three.
The AB-QM is also the only automatic flow limiter which requires no isolating, drainage or venting should the flow section require changing.
This ensures quick and simple installation and operation of its service without disrupting the system operation.
