Sontay, the market leader in control peripheral products, has added a 'live chat' online support facility for customers to talk to staff working on key functions within the business such as the customer service and technical support teams.
This latest service enhancement is part of a huge investment the company is making this year as part of its ongoing improvement process to drive customer service to new levels in the HVAC sector.
Benefits of Sontay's live support include real-time chats with its friendly and knowledgeable support staff in five different departments - all accessible from the 'Contact Us' menu at www.sontay.com.
Departments currently online are customer service, technical support, accounts, UK sales and European sales - just look for the 'Live Support Online' logo.
When outside of office hours or when a member of staff is away from their desk, there is the option to click on a 'currently unavailable' button which enables the customer to send an email to the relevant person who will then get back to them as soon as possible.
Once a session has ended, customers can rate the quality of the service given so Sontay can look to continually improve its business.

The company is making a significant six figure sum investment to improve customer service this year.
Other website developments include an email newsletter offering the latest news and product updates, also downloadable from the website, and the release of the first update available, also via download, for the 2007 Product Selection Tool CD.
The update includes revised data sheets with all pdfs now unlocked, and the correction of bugs found by customers with the order pad.
Sontay have also smoothed out the process for buying multipack products and ordering the correct quantity of accessories.
