Rid outbuildings of dank air with Solar Star

A Solatube product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 6, 2008

New solar powered ventilation system has been launched by Solatube.

Simple to fit, maintenance-free and cost-effective, Solar Star is an ideal way to remove stale or damp air from buildings.

Solar Star's small, solar panel supplies power to a highly efficient motor that draws over 360 litres of air per second out of buildings, making it the most effective system of its type.

Because Solar Star is entirely solar powered, there are no operating costs so both energy usage and bills are reduced.

Solatube's UK sales and marketing director Chris Taffs comments: "Solar Star ensures that buildings are constantly fed with fresh air throughout daylight hours".

"The sunnier and warmer it is, the harder the motor works to extract stale air so that it's automatically replaced with fresh air." Prices for Solatube's Solar Star start at GBP325+VAT per unit.
