New Industrial Cooling Solution

Scott Products Ltd, the specialist in heating and cooling products, present the Patterson Ice Cube which offers portable flash evaporative cooling.

Following a successful launch in 2002, this popular American cooling solution is ideal for combating excessive heat in the workplace Available only from Scott Products Ltd in the UK, the Patterson Ice Cube offers portable flash evaporative cooling

The Ice Cube is a powerful unit, requiring only mains electricity and water and is suitable for cooling areas up to 1500 sq.ft making it ideal for workshops, foundries, industrial units and factory production lines, where the heat generated by machinery and enclosed surroundings can lead to uncomfortable and unproductive working conditions.

"Flash evaporation" forces water to evaporate, as air is forced through, using a high-powered blower: the Ice Cube will reduce the temperature of the air entering the unit by up to 20F, and distribute it up to 80 feet across a workplace.

The powerful blower also removes hot air in the process, whilst the general flow of air created also contributes to the cooling effect for everyone in the area, whilst continually cleaning particles and dust from the atmosphere.

As the Patterson Ice Cube is portable the unit can be deployed externally, cooling outdoor facilities such as sports arenas, grounds and marquees as well as internal spaces.

The Ice Cube cools by evaporation of water and therefore produces re-humidified air (cool and slightly moist) making it suitable to cool animal and live plant stores, garden centres and agricultural produce stores etc The Patterson Ice Cube can be positioned anywhere with access to water and electricity, for immediate cooling benefits, and has a low capital cost (less than ?1400) as well as extremely low running costs, (with a kW rating less than an electric kettle!).

Because cold air falls, the Ice Cube discharges air directionally horizontally, and, for added efficiency an extended "snoot" (top distribution funnel) can be purchased to dispel the cool air along a room, at a height in excess of 11'.

The Patterson Ice Cube is available ex stock, so customers need not wait to reduce temperatures dramatically in hot premises, and at low cost.

Perfect for factories, foundries and metal working shops, distribution centres and warehouses as well as automotive body shops etc.

The units can be ordered directly from Scott Products. Request a free brochure from Scott Products ...
