SOL West Midlands has won the GBP1.1m contract to construct an extensive two storey Sure Start facility in Bartley Green.

SOL West Midlands has won the GBP1.1m contract to construct an extensive two storey Sure Start facility in Bartley Green The new partially clad building will provide various facilities for residents of the surrounding area

The ground floor will include an under 2's creche and baby change, over 2's nursery, drop in centre, toilets, sleeping rooms and several kitchen areas.

The first floor offers a sensory suite, training facilities, offices and meeting rooms.

The external of the sure start facility will feature grass and barked play areas, contoured walk ways, herb gardens, outdoor toy storage as well as extensive landscaping and car parking.

Terry Marsh, SOL West Midlands Director quoted "The Sure Start community-based initiative provides a one-stop service not readily available elsewhere and I'm sure this scheme will be an enormous benefit to the residents of Bartley Green.".
