SOL West Midlands is on track to complete the GBP734,000 refurbishment works at the Bedworth fitness and leisure facility.

Case Study:Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council/Inspirit Bedworth Leisure Centre.

Client: Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.

Purpose: To refurbish the existing leisure centre and provide new fitness suite and upgraded changing areas.

Time Scale: Contract period of 29 weeks, completion due for end of December.

The Process: SOL West Midlands is on track to complete the GBP734,000 refurbishment works at the Bedworth fitness and leisure facility.

The new works to Bedworth Leisure Centre are being realised with funding from the Lottery Fund and Sport England whose aim is to raise participation levels in sport and physical activity.

Leading providers of health and fitness services, Inspirit are in close liaison with SOL West Midlands to project manage the build.

The new Healthy Living Centre will include substantially upgraded changing areas, cafe, reception and a fully equipped state of the art cardiovascular fitness suite, which is entirely compliant with the DDA.

Also, to add to a diverse range of facilities is a new dance studio and creche.

With the whole project being due for completion by December.

Andrew Roberts the Divisional Director from SOL West Midlands commented on the project stating "The new Healthy Living Centre will provide a first class facility for the local residents by delivering a high quality environment enabling people to embrace physical and mental well-being".
