Impressive shopfront for Esprit in Oxford Street, London is one of the latest projects completed by Solaglas Structural Contracting.

The impressive shopfront of the prestigious international fashion brand Esprit in Oxford Street, London is one of the latest projects completed by Solaglas Structural Contracting The contract was awarded by Sajo (UK) in August 2004 and completed in November

The three-storey store selling menswear, womenswear and young fashion is located close to Oxford Circus.

Working with Esprit's in-house architectural team, the Georgian facade was stripped back for Solaglas to create a double height entrance space with frameless glass doors and shopfront comprising 19mm toughened glass with panes as large as 4.5m x 3m.

The leaves were then secured using the SGG Spider Glass bolted system providing a flush exterior finish to accentuate light, transparency and visibility through the glass.

SGG Parsol body-tinted float glass screens have been positioned in-store on the first and second floors providing a simple but effective backdrop for the merchandise.
