Range includes both natural and powered versions of the unit, all of which include a stainless steel trough, flexible hoses, valves, heat exchanger and aluminium or wooden grid as standard.

SPC have again expanded their range of heating products with the introduction of the MINIB range of trench heaters.

The range includes both natural and powered versions of the unit, all of which include a stainless steel trough, flexible hoses, valves, heat exchanger and aluminium or wooden grid as standard.

Outputs of up to 7 kW are available dependent on type and size selected.

Sizes of troughs are discreet - the minimum construction height is 63mm and minimum construction width is 106mm.

Minimal water volume is used so an immediate reaction to change of heat requirement is ensured.

Powered versions include tangential fans with a safe operating voltage of 12 volts and extremely energy efficient 12v DC motors.

Versions are available for wet environments such as swimming pools - these use 12v AC motors, to avoid the use of electronic circuitry which would be sensitive to water - and also versions to allow partial cooling in the summer.

Control systems are also available to control the powered versions, including isolating safety transformers, programmable thermostats and control panels, with varying levels of sophistication.

MINIB convectors are supplied as standard in lengths of 0.9 to 3.0 metres, but special lengths can be considered for special order, or by combination of two units together.

Curved convectors and those joined at angles can also be offered to special order.
