Specialist manufacturer and supplier of heating equipment SPC (SandP Coils) has announced a strategic restructure of its salesteam, in order to better serve the increasing demand.

Specialist manufacturer and supplier of heating equipment SPC (SandP Coils) has announced a strategic restructure of its salesteam, in order to better serve the increasing demand for some of the company's most innovative products.

Andy Kirk, 30, has been appointed Specialist Products Manager (Northern), with a responsibility for Warm Air Curtains, Radiant Ceiling Panels and Trench Heating.

Robin Wakefield remains in his role as Specialist Products Manager (Southern).

Commenting on the appointment, UK Sales Director Warwick Taylor said: "An important part of our UK strategy is offering our customers a full design service not just a product range and this means focusing on specification".

"The appointment of a second specialist product manager was the logical next step in our continued growth plan".

"" Mr Kirk has spent the past six years at SPC as an Internal Sales Engineer, having joined the company when he graduated from Leicester University".

"His understanding of the specialist products market means he will also be responsible, alongside Mr Wakefield, for the delivery of two of the company's new CPD presentations".

"Aimed at architects, building design engineers and consultants, the new CPD presentations look at the benefits and provide an understanding of Warm Air Curtains, Trench Heating and Radiant Ceiling Panels".

"Commenting on his new role, Mr Kirk said: "After having spent the last year as part time Area Sales Manager / part time Internal Sales Engineer, I was over the moon when I learnt that I was being considered for a full time external position covering the North of England and Scotland as a Specialist Products Manager".

""The new role involves me working closely with our Northern Area Sales Managers and our Scottish Agents, Heating Appliances and Spares Limited (HASL)".
