The valve is supplied with the option of a full range of connections, including tube end and sanitary clamp connectors.
The face-to-face dimensions can be defined by the customer, making the STERI-TROL very easy to retrofit.
High Kv values offer a low pressure drop across the valve, and Spirax Sarco can supply the STERI-TROL with a choice of equal percentage, linear or fast-opening flow characteristics.
There are also soft seal and micro-flow options available.
The STERI-TROL is designed in accordance with 3-A standards (covering the US dairy industry), EHEDG (European hygienic processing), ASME BPE (US pharmaceuticals and biotech) and FDA (US food and drugs) standards.
The construction materials are certified as standard to 3.1b in accordance with EN 10204.
