Catch up with the Window Industry Debate, sponsored by Spectus Window Systems and The Glazine, which saw some thoughtful and lively discussions on a number of big issues.

A great deal of interest has been created in the debate and the second stage is continuing at http://www.theglazine.typepad.com/.

The market and industry is going through a period of extreme change and there are a host of important issues to think about.

Many, if not most fabricators, installers, hardware, machinery, software and systems companies will have to change direction to keep up and adapt to these changes.

How we go about things will also change.

But there is a great deal of uncertainty in the market, and it's clear that there is a need for a thorough and wide debate.

Sam Kennedy, Managing Director of Spectus, explains: "We decided to hold an initial debate between a variety of people and organisations and firms from different sectors and levels in the industry".

"By publishing the debate in full we hope to spark an industry wide debate, enabling anyone to comment on what was said in the first stage".
