Spectus gives students a clearer Vision

A Spectus Window Systems product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Nov 23, 2007

Spectus Window Systems profile has recently been used to replace 215 ground floor windows for Cardiff University student accommodation.

The GBP60,000 project was completed by Vision Products, owned by Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council.

Cheryl Williams, PVC Manager, Vision Products explains: "The original PVC-U windows needed to be replaced in order to increase security at ground floor level".

"Our connections with the council have demonstrated our ability to deliver high quality products and installations in the private, public and commercial sectors".

"The Spectus profile is suitable for every job we do," continues Cheryl, "which is why we have used it for over 12 years".

"During this time sales have increased by about 10% each year".

Vision Products is a supported workshop employing 145 disabled people from the local community, 21 of whom work in the PVC-U department.
