Indigo employees make the grade

A Spectus Window Systems product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jan 25, 2008

Spectus fabricator, Indigo (West Midlands), continues to move forward in the market with new employee qualifications and accreditations.

New management this year has revitalised the company and, in 2007, 8 team leaders successfully completed a level 2 NVQ in Supervisory Management.

On top of this, 41 Operators were also awarded Core Manufacturing Competence accreditations.

Carl Slater was promoted from team leader to technical controller due to his NVQ completion and increased involvement with day-to-day technical issues.

Steve New, Director of Indigo, explains: "Carl has shown great appetite and competence on the technical side and when working directly with our customers, so his new role suits him down to a 'T'".

"Indigo supports and trains our employees so we can provide a premier service for customers to match the premier product range".

"The team leaders and operatives pulled out all the stops to achieve these grades and continue to work hard in a company that's changing with the market.".
