Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames grows with Spectus

A Spectus Window Systems product story

Spectus fabricator, Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames, continues to grow with sales up 25% on 2006.

In a struggling market it's unusual to find a company that keeps growing.

But with a turnover of GBP4 million in 2007, up 25% on 2006, this is exactly what Spectus fabricator Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames continues to do.

The company has expanded with people and plant in 2007 and is aiming for a GBP5 million turnover in 2008.

Bolton-based Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames bought sealed unit company AandA Glass in November to improve margins and give its customers even better service.

"We'll be keeping all of the workers at AandA Glass, to make the most of their experience," explains John Anthony, Sales Manager for Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames.

The company has also invested over GBP1.1 million in new machinery over the last four years, including a GBP300,000 SV800 corner cleaner to improve its already outstanding product quality.

This is all in addition to the expansion of the 20,000 square foot warehouse to include an area for housing dispatch.

John continues: "Our investments mean we can be more efficient and offer our customers a more competitive deal on the whole package".

Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames makes 1,000 frames a week using the Spectus Elite 70 profile - "the specifier's choice," according to John - and aims to double this in the next two years.
