Worsley Glass hospice help with Spectus

A Spectus Window Systems product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 4, 2008

Worsley Glass has recently replaced old windows and doors with Spectus's Elite 70 profile at St Ann's Hospice, Little Hulton.

Originally a sealed unit manufacturer, Worsley has been fabricating and installing windows for less than a year.

Jason Farrell, Technical Sales Manager at Worsley Glass, comments: "With the help of Spectus we've quickly found our feet and are already busy with new contracts, such as St Ann's.

"The GBP45,000 project involved improving the hospice, which was established in 1967, with 110 windows and 15 French doors.

The windows and doors were in a poor condition and desperately needed replacing.

Staff wanted to improve the environment to make patients as comfortable as possible".

St Ann's is one of the largest adult hospices in the UK with 60 in-patient beds.

As an independent local charity, care is provided free of charge by St Ann's Hospice to over 3,000 people each year.
