BBA certificate for Lancashire PVC-U trade frames

A Spectus Window Systems product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jun 18, 2008

Spectus fabricator Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames is celebrating after gaining BBA certification for Elite 70 casements and tilt 'n' turns.

This is just the latest development in the list of the Lancashire recent achievements.

In the last year, Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames has acquired sealed unit manufacturer A+A Glass, invested GBP300,000 in a SV800 corner cleaner and expanded its 20,000 square foot warehouse to include an area for housing dispatch.

The British Board of Agrement is the UK's major approval body for new construction products and installers.

Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames manufactures Spectus Elite 70 casements, tilt 'n' turns, conservatories, French doors, patio doors, bi-fold doors and residential doors.

In the six weeks prior to the inspector granting BBA certification, Dennis Emms-Moss, leading industry consultant, worked closely with Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames.

"I was very impressed with the quality of products, equipment and service, and quality control procedures including layout," explains Dennis.

"The inspectors examined every aspect of production and manufacture and said they observed an attention to detail at Lancashire PVC-U Trade Frames that hadn't been seen anywhere else! Every process was examined to ensure it all ran according to regulations".
