New affordable green homes in Hereford
Green roofs have been installed on a ground-breaking development of new affordable homes in Hereford to help cut the cost of living in them.
"I worked with West Mercia Housing Group when I was at Worcester City Council and always had a positive feeling about the organisation, about their commitment to social housing and about how much people seemed to enjoy working there," said Kathryn, who lives with her partner and their 18-month-old daughter.
"This is a new role and what attracted me to it was that they were looking for someone with strategic expertise in housing and someone with experience in partnership working.
"I am really looking forward to the challenges ahead.
The first tasks I will be tackling are promoting and raising awareness of Spectrum and its considerable strengths".
Based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, West Mercia Housing Group manages more than 5,000 properties in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands.
Between them, the partners in the ten-strong consortium manage more than 46,000 homes in the Midlands.
