In addition to the recent investment in thermal Imaging camera's, Square Dot have recently launched a new service offering air leakage testing in new buildings, in particular domestic dwellings.
Due to the forthcoming amendments in the Building Regulations Part L1 and L2 documents due in January 2006, where air leakage testing will become obligatory for all new buildings, Square Dot have invested in 5 purpose made 'Blower door' rigs for use in domestic dwellings and small to medium commercial buildings.
In addition to this sizeable investment, which will allow national coverage for this service, Square Dot have established an alliance with a provider of larger (>30 m3/s) blower rigs enabling an air leakage testing service for industrial size buildings, such as supermarkets and warehouses.
Graham Dobbin of Square Dot stated, " The sizeable investment being undertaken by Square Dot in both air leakage testing equipment and thermal imaging cameras is a clear demonstration of our commitment to this market".
"When you consider the service levels offered by Square Dot, and the knowledge and expertise on hand, linked with the latest equipment from world leading manufacturers, we are confident that Square Dot will be the number one choice for many organisations within the construction sector".
Square Dot offer a variety of service levels, which tailor the scope of testing to ensure legislation compliance.
