Another innovative product launch from Stanley - the FatMax XL Hammer Tacker which combines the performance benefits of both a stapler and knife in one robust and easy-to-use hand tool.

Designed specifically for roofing, insulation, underlay and felting, the unique integral blade enables users to quickly switch from tacking to cutting without changing tools The blade is extended at the push of the button and retracts safely and securely within the housing of the tool when the button is released

A blade release button also enables quick and easy blade replacement when required.

The FatMax XL Hammer Tacker also features a patented anti-jam staple exit mechanism and has an easy slide reload latch.

Furthermore, the tool can hold two sticks of heavy duty staples, which load from the bottom, ensuring quick and easy reloading.

An anti-slip, soft over mould grip also provides additional benefits in terms of comfort and the full rubber grip helps to absorb shock and protect users' hands.

"The Hammer Tacker is the latest addition to our FatMax XL range, which has been developed specifically to meet the needs of professional users," explains David Osborne, head of marketing, Stanley.

"The Hammer Tacker was designed following in-depth end user rsearch which highlighted a real need for an intelligent tool that offered time and costs saving benefits, so we are delighted with the finished product because we know it is just what pro's have been waiting for".

The FatMax XL Hammer Tacker is compatible with heavy duty G type staples and can use up to five different blade types.
